Hostal Alaska - Madrid

The location of this place is fantastic, nestled between a mini-golf course and two lively Irish pubs.

The hotel had an amazing location only a short distance to Main Square. It was also right by Madrid and bars, restaurants and groceries along the street and two excellent and inexpensive restaurants. Our rooms at this place were reasonably large by another trip advisor poster.

The room was good-sized with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a sitting area, and a writing desk.

The whole staff was really friendly and sorted out all my problems. They were so nice! 😉. the location was awesome, just a quick walk from Cobra Adventure Park.

The room was spacious and clean with a private bathroom that had a shower, hairdryer, and bath sheets, and the staff here were extremely friendly and accommodating.

The location was insane, just a hop away from Sol and the tube station. Super clean rooms with cool decoration. Despite being in the center, it was surprisingly quiet. Shoutout to Juan Carlos, the owner, for being so helpful. Best value for money, always staying here when I come to Madrid!

If there's one thing I'd ask for, it's a better party vibe. We wanted a hostel that was more lively and had a bar or common area for young people to hang out and meet new friends.

We had a fabulous stay. the room was reasonably large with a window to an interior patio and an en suite bathroom. Stunning central location right next to Sol metro station, surrounded by bars, restaurants, and groceries. Conveniently located near Plaza Mayor, Plaza St Ana, Puerto del Sol, and many restaurants and tavernas in the center of Madrid.

For dads, it would be great to have some more child-friendly amenities, such as a playground or a play area within the hostel premises.

I had a fantastic stay in this hotel. Right in the city centre, it was convenient for exploring all the major museums in the city. The Sol metro station was just a stone's throw away, making it easy to get around. The cleanliness of the hotel was perfect, and the staff were friendly and cute. I was even allowed to check in earlier than the official time. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable stay. the location, cleanliness, and helpful staff made this hotel a great choice.

Loved the bustling area with great restaurants and nightlife, just steps away from Puerta del Sol and the metro. The hostel had simple, clean rooms with free WiFi.

Oh, how I adored the simplicity of the wooden furnishings, especially the uncomfortable bed. Aching back, anyone?
